It has been overcast and foggy quite a bit here in Calgary recently...
the hoar frost is really pretty, but I certainly do miss that bright blue sky and warm sun! We keep getting glimpses of spring, then the fog rolls in and we get sprayed with snow and then it's winter again!
I am getting some major winter blues right now, and it doesn't help that it has been a slow start to booking weddings. Mike and I love love LOVE being wedding photographers, but it sure is challenging owning and operating our own business. It is far too easy to doubt everything when things get slow.
On another note, I have a lot of excitement for our future. We learn from our mistakes, dust ourselves and start again! Right? My hope one day is to see this business thriving on Vancouver Island -you know- the land of milk and honey? Haha, at least that is the illusion in my head right now. I like green grass, the ocean, and the general laid back personality of the island.
When you look out our window facing north in our downtown home, you willl see some beautiful trees and some train tracks! these are some photos that I snapped this morning. Photos without people in them get a little boring for me - hehe - so I won't share too many.
Someone forgot their boots over by the train tracks...
I like textures and these colors...
I also like that it didn't dawn on me that I was trespassing until I took a photo of this sign stuffed away in the snow...
haha, I was in my own little world of illegal-ness.
Don't tell anyone okay? ;)
Oh I love a good hoar frost! So illegally lovely! LOVE YOU!
